Great stuff 🙂
I’m no artist, I’m a computer scientist… but reading between the lines of that post what I see is a disciplined version of the phrase: “Be Gentle with Yourself”.
I think cutting yourself some slack when you have a bad day
is wise. In the past when I had “bad OCD days“, I used to continue to try to force myself through ERP treatment. One wise doctor finally advised me: “back off on the difficult exposures on bad days. Do the easier ones if you can.“
I found that very helpful. I stopped wasting energy beating myself up all the time when I accomplished less on rough days.
I hope this strategy helps you… A LOT! 🙂 -Paul K
