One of my favorite things is speaking to an audience about writing and literature! I am very flexible and happy to customize my content to your needs. Since I also work for a local university, I have to keep in mind how much work/pay I will miss if I take an speaking engagement, along with the time it will take me to prepare. That said, my fees are as follows:

Twin Cities schools:
$150 for one class
$250 for a half day
$500 for a full day

Other MN schools:
$200 + mileage for one class
$300 + mileage for a half day
$600 + mileage for a full day

Twin Cities book clubs:
Free if the majority of your book club has purchased my book!

Non-local book clubs:
In person: mileage if the majority of your book club has purchased my book!
Over Skype: free if the majority of your book club has purchased my book!

Friends, family, University of Northwestern staff/faculty/alumni, and Kimball organizations: usually free 🙂
