Perspective in Three Parts

I.

I keep letting a piece of my identity wipe out and overshadow the whole rest of my identity.

II.

This is still nothing compared to the old dark days of OCD.

III.

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.

  1. I needed to read this tonight. Especially I.

    Thanks Jackie. (Also, Truest has stuck with me a lot, in ways I didn’t expect it to. It’s so easy to find a devourable book that is forgettable and much harder to find a book whose hard edges jab into you an resurface in the future.)
