Aww, this is so cute. Makes me even more excited for the book. By the way, I live very close to Green Lake in Seattle. It’s a very popular lake for walkers, runners, skate boarders, in line skaters, cyclists, etc. to go around. You can rent canoes or paddleboats. There is a swimming beach and a manmade kiddie wading pool that has existed to entertain kids for over 50 years..
Oh, that’s so fun! There is actually a Green Lake LAKE in Minnesota, but not a Green Lake TOWN. I modeled the town after my hometown of Kimball, pop. 700. 🙂
