A Few Things I Want

Indulge me for a minute while I blather.

Things I want:

long hair

this ring

a home library

library2

to be friends with John and Hank Green

vlogbroths

a publishing contract

handshake

to meet the man of my dreams in a library or bookstore

… is that too much to ask?

How about you?  What do you want?  Be as wild or silly as you want.

  1. Off the top of my head…
    1. A real-life literary boyfriend (to keep things concise, I won’t list any of the possible candidates…)
    2. To be a cast member in Downton Abbey and wow the British cast with my American wit and charm, all while wearing fabulous 1920s costumes.
    3. Reese’s Peanut Butter cups in abudance.
    4. The home library you pictured above.
    5. To be able to pull off a shorter hair cut.
    6. To have long hair when I feel like it. (Like one of those Play-Doh contraptions where you can squeeze out the Play-Doh hair whenever you want and then snip it off whenever you want.)
    7. To be musically and rhythmically inclined.

    • YES!!! When I was growing up, there was this kind of doll that had a butterfly in her hair. If you raised her hand to touch the butterfly, her hair just SHOOOOOOOOM grew. My friend Bria’s hair grows super fast, and I would always pretend to look for her “butterfly”!

  2. Hmmm.

1.) I want to get my ROCD and HOCD under control. or at least not keeping me from following my dreams.

2.) I want to have a biological child. I have two step-kids who I love like my own but they already have a mom. My HOCD tells me I shouldn’t have a kiddo just in case I am actually hay and have to leave my husband. :/
I wouldn’t want to put a kid through that.

3.) I want to start my own incubator for startups that have at least 50% of the founding team is women.

4.) I want to turn our whole front yard into an edible garden.
(we have started moving our raised boxes! Yay!)

    5.) I want to publish a book.
